Terms of Use

Last updated: 23 August 2026 · This is the end user licence agreement (EULA) for Grille.

Please read these terms before using Grille. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Safety notice — please read

Grille deliberately plays loud, low-frequency audio at high volume.

1. What Grille is — and is not

Grille plays engineered tones through your device speaker. Sound pressure from those tones may help move water droplets or loose dust out of a speaker grille. That is the whole of what the app does.

Grille is not a repair service and not a diagnostic tool. It:

Results vary by device model, by how much liquid is present and by how long it has been there. If your device has been exposed to liquid, follow the manufacturer's guidance and seek professional service where appropriate.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use Grille on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service or Google Play Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute or resell the app or any part of it, except where that restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

3. Subscriptions and payment

Grille Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time purchase.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us. We cannot issue refunds directly.

4. Free tier and ads

The free tier includes a limited number of cleaning sessions per day and displays advertising. Purchasing Pro removes both limits and ads. We may change the limits of the free tier over time; existing paid entitlements are not affected.

5. No warranty

Grille is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or effective for your particular device.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, device damage, hearing damage arising from misuse contrary to the safety notice above, or loss of profits, arising out of your use of Grille. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Third-party services

Grille uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and Google AdMob to serve ads. Your use of the app is also subject to those services' terms. See our Privacy Policy for what each one processes.

8. Terms specific to the Apple App Store

Where you obtained Grille from the App Store, the following apply:

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
